I am currently based on the OBX. Photography has always been a love of mine. As a kid I always enjoyed looking at old family photos before I was born, and just loving the moments that were captured of the people in my life. I would always take a few when I was allowed and would keep them in my room for my own collection. You should see it now! I’ve been around photography my whole life. My family is filled with people who love capturing life and memories. I shifted my focus to film production during college and have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production. I created a few short films during that time, I was in positions focusing on the production side of filmmaking, as well as on set sound mixer. I have an immense love for film and I always will. I currently have found my way back to photography and am enjoying this new path. I do plan to unite my passion for film and photography someday. My focus right now in photography is nature and landscape photography, but I do enjoy trying different types to push myself and to keep learning. I enjoy traveling/hiking so a lot of my photos come from those adventures. I also love a sunrise, and will always enjoy capturing them! I have been learning how to make my own prints with my uncle, who is a professional photographer - OBX Pixels. It’s been a very special thing to be able to learn how to make prints with him.
